Now forgetful and retired
Is good, old Sergeant Tickin
Who lives on a farm
With nineteen of his chickens
One yawns and
One pecks
One squabbles
“What the heck?”
“I’ll not have that language!”
Sergeant Tickin suddenly shouts
But the chickens keep clucking
While Sergeant Tickin eyes his scouts
“Who knows what new mission
We could be assigned
So all of you darn chickens,
Better get back in line!”
